1. Information We Collect
As account features are enabled, WWIM may collect information such as your name, email address, program access, membership or leadership roles, and information you voluntarily provide through the Site. Login credentials will be handled through the Site's authentication provider. WWIM does not receive or store passwords in readable form.
2. Google Calendar Data
The Site may access Google Calendar data from authorized WWIM accounts to display WWIM schedules and events. This implementation requests read-only Google Calendar access. WWIM does not use Google Calendar data for advertising.
3. How Information Is Used
WWIM may use information to:
- provide access to the Site and authenticate users;
- display authorized WWIM programs, schedules, and calendars;
- support member and leadership experiences;
- provide Mini D and Olivia experiences when those integrations are enabled; and
- maintain security, permissions, and access controls.
4. Google User Data
When an authorized WWIM account connects Google Calendar, the Site uses read-only access to retrieve the calendar information needed to display approved WWIM schedules and events. Access is limited to what is necessary to provide this WWIM functionality.
Google user data is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not shared except with trusted service providers when needed to operate the Site or as required by law. The beta does not claim permanent storage of Google Calendar data; storage and caching practices may be introduced only as the Site's implementation evolves and this policy will be updated accordingly.
5. Authentication and Account Security
User authentication will be handled through secure authentication infrastructure as account access is implemented. Passwords are not stored in readable form by WWIM. No system can guarantee absolute security, and WWIM will use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the Site's stage and the information involved.
6. Access and Permissions
Different WWIM users may have different Site access based on membership, program participation, leadership status, or administrator permissions. Access may be granted, changed, or removed as appropriate.
7. Data Retention
WWIM retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable requirements and future retention policies. A fixed retention period has not been established for this beta.
8. User Choices
As account tools become available, users may update account information and change passwords through the applicable account or authentication process. Users may contact WWIM with account, access, or privacy questions.
9. Third-Party Services
WWIM may use trusted service providers, including Google and authentication or hosting providers, to operate the Site. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices and only in connection with the services they provide.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated as the WWIM Site evolves, integrations are enabled, or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
